William Baillie is a wedding photographer based in Argyll and Bute, Scotland. He discovered his passion for photography at a young age, picking up his first professional camera in the 70s when he was only 8 years old. It wasn't until his early 20s that wedding photography became a part of his life, and he immediately became captivated by the ability to capture precious moments as he saw them.

William's interest in photographing people is fueled by his fascination with human behavior, constantly finding inspiration from observing and learning. He often looks to other photographers' work on sites like WPJA, admiring their use of angles and light to create beautiful and artistic images.

In addition to his passion for photographing people, William is also enthusiastic about landscape photography. He prefers to immerse himself in different locations and let the weather and landscape guide his creativity. This approach extends to his wedding photography, where he incorporates the surroundings to create a bigger picture around the subjects.

Despite being self-taught, William's talent and dedication to his craft have earned him recognition. Although he was accepted into the Glasgow School of Art, he ultimately decided to pursue a different path. He continues to learn and experiment, always seeking to improve his skills and techniques.
